FastImpact Bra | Adidas Innovation

The Adidas FastImpact bra, launched as a part of the Adidas Bra Revolution in SS22, is an exploration in controlled support, radical adjustability, and on-the-go weight distribution. The concept was launched out of Adidas Innovation, in partnership with the Adidas Training business unit, to turn the idea of how a sports bra is put together upside down. Leveraging the support of the renowned bra testing lab at the University of Portsmouth, we sought to build the most supportive bra on the market.

Why?

75% of US women surveyed by Adidas face difficulties in finding a high-impact bra that is both supportive and comfortable. The Adidas FastImpact bra introduces the concept of “radical adjustability” and 360° of support. A high-impact sports bra that is both supportive and comfortable, the FastImpact bra is adjustable on the fly, and addresses many of the pain points women have with over-padded, underwired bras.

What?

Most high-impact sports bras contain underwires, heavy padding, metal fasteners and adjusters. Athletes experience chafing, inconsistent support and hems that gape. The FastImpact bra combines reductive, integrated trims and details with low-profile, soft and supportive materials, resulting in a unique one-piece bra that wraps around the body. Adjusters at the hem and shoulders distribute support evenly around the body, for a radically different bra-wearing experience.

The result of two years of ideation, research and independent testing with the University of Portsmouth, the FastImpact bra is the most supportive bra ever created by Adidas.
